Up and up the tower Rebecca’s party continued, hoping to reach the top before it was too late. The cultists had near-totally stopped their attacks, either all of them being dead or they preferred to let their remaining two champions handle the battle from here. Rebecca’s party at this point was down to just Lyssa, Aphrodite, and Rebecca. Lyssa was furious that these heretics still continued their madness, she saw no reason to allow such heresies to continue like they have, and she likewise found it baffling that anybody would willingly join such obviously villainous gods. She gripped her axe tightly. Whoever was up next, they were hers to kill. She wouldn’t tolerate any more heretics acting against Lady Astrid, and Rebecca was ultimately the one who needed to make it to the top. Soon enough, the next arena was reached. Heavy footsteps pounded through the tower as Rebecca and her party charged upwards, hoping to seal the Warp Portal that the Children of the Cosmic Powers tore open and caused an invasion of Terra Ancora. John had decided to stay behind to fight the last one of the champions, but that likely meant there were three more further up the tower, one for each one of the Children of the Cosmic Powers’ heretical gods. Rebecca knew that time was of the essence, and if more of her party had to stay behind to hold off the remaining champions, so be it.
